Welcome to Komorebi Counselling, my name is Sue Spooner. As a therapeutic counsellor, my focus is on you as an individual. I provide you with a safe space, somewhere you will feel listened to, heard and understood, without fear of judgement or reprimand. Together we work towards bringing about the changes that will enable you to live the life you deserve.
Through personal experience I understand that without warning and at any age, life events can cause us to feel unhappy and overwhelmed. This can start to have a negative impact on our everyday wellbeing and enjoyment of life. It may affect our mood, energy levels and relationships.
Feelings of anxiety and panic can start to control and limit us on living the life we imagined. There may be painful and traumatic events from the past we thought we could tuck away and cope with, that still prevent us from living in the present. Past trauma can have an impact on our self-esteem, self-worth, how we see and feel about ourselves and subsequently affecting the choices we make in life.
